  • 1 to 2 teaspoons hot sauce plus additional for serving
  • 2 green onions sliced

Step-by-Step Instructions
 

  • Begin by heating the canola oil in a sizeable skillet over high heat. After the oil becomes hot and shiny, reduce the heat to medium and add the diced potatoes. Stir and cook until they achieve a golden hue and start softening - around 6 minutes.
  • Next, introduce the ground beef, yellow onion, and red bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté and break apart the meat as it cooks.
  • Integrate the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, kosher salt, black pepper, and hot sauce into the mix. Adjust the hot sauce to your heat preference.
  • Continue cooking until the onions are tender, and the beef is thoroughly browned, roughly 6 to 8 minutes more.
