Step-by-Step Instructions

  • First, round up all your ingredients and heat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar until the mix is cohesive. Press into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Place in the preheated oven and allow to bake until it sets, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Allow it to cool.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until smooth with an electric mixer. Fold in the whipped topping, and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in the still-frozen strawberries and allow to set shortly. Pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer, then refrigerate until firm, for at least 2 hours.
  • Slice, serve, and delight in each exquisite bite of this Strawberry Pretzel Salad!

Notes

Introduce an added depth of flavor with a dash of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of pecans on top for a delightful, nutty crunch.
