Craving a healthy, plant-based sushi that's as delightful as it is nutritious? Dive into our Delicious Vegan Sushi recipe for a flavorful culinary adventure.
Start by rinsing the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Once cooked, stir in the rice vinegar and let it cool.
While the rice is cooling, prepare the vegetables by slicing the avocado, julienning the cucumber, and shredding the carrot.
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving a small border. Arrange a line of avocado, cucumber, and carrot along the edge of the rice.
Using the sushi mat, carefully roll the nori and rice over the vegetables, squeezing gently to form a tight roll. Wet the edge to seal it.
With a sharp knife, slice the roll into bite-sized pieces. Serve with soy sauce on the side for dipping.
